Welcome to Bassingham Pre-School

The main aim of our pre-school is to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment to enable children to learn about themselves, other people and the world around them, through play.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Curriculum and strongly believe that children of pre-school age learn through well planned and structured play activities. We recognise that every child is different, with varying skills and abilities. Therefore, we treat each child as an individual and work in partnership with parents to ensure we meet each child’s needs effectively.

The pre-school was established over 40 years ago and is registered with Ofsted for 27 children per session. We have our own modern purpose built classroom attached  to Bassingham Primary School  and we work very closely with the primary school reception class, often joining together for activities throughout the year. We believe this is a very important aspect of our pre-school, as it helps create happier, more confident transition into “Big School” for each child.  

Welcome to the Tree Tops

We offer a Breakfast Club and After School Club during Term Times for children aged 3 to 11 years. Please see below for additional information: 

- Breakfast Club 8.00am – 8.50am

- Children are offered a light breakfast of cereals, yoghurts, fruit and toast

- After School Club 3.30pm – 6.00pm

- The children are collected from the classrooms by our staff.

- There are many fun and exciting activities to suit all ages groups
